Why do bad things have to happen to good people?

I just found out today that my agriculture teacher, back in my middle school years died yesterday. She had cancer... I remember on my first day of middle school i had her during 6th period. I wondered why she was bald and was wearing a hat. But then she explained to the class she had cancer, and all her hair came out. At the end of the year her hair came back a little bit. she was taking chemotherapy to help get rid of her cancer. But when i came back the next year in 7th grade i wanted to take agriculture again. she was such a great teacher. Then went i walked in her classroom, i saw she wasn't there. It was a new teacher. I saw her one day at the store and i asked why she wasn't at the school anymore. She said her cancer had come back and she started teaching at a high school that was much closer to her. and it was a lot easier for her. My middle school was about an hour drive away from where she lived. So i was disappointed to see that she would be teaching agriculture there anymore. I always volunteered to work at her farm, help sheer her sheep's coats and clean up the barn.

I just cannot believe she is gone. She was a wonderful person. I wish there were a cure to cancer. Maybe in the future some scientest will find a cure. I hope so. I have lost so many great people to cancer...
